Bihar’s economic survey results for 2010-11 are out. Bihar’s GSDP at current prices in 2009-10 stood at Rs 1,68,603 crore with per capita income of Rs 17,590.
The per capita income in Bihar has increased to Rs 17,590 compared to Rs 8,528 in 2004-05.
The survey found that the contribution of agriculture sector in the GSDP has been 19%, which shows a decline from 26% in 2004-05, 17% from secondary sector, 11% from construction, 6% from transport and 30% from trade and hotels etc.
